"For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them." Matthew 18:20 NIV
Services at The Chapel at McLemore are interdenominational and conducted by visiting clergy. All are welcome, and that spirit is reflected in the composition of every service.
Our vision is to serve McLemore Resort staff, residents, resort guests, and community members beyond our gates. Weather permitting, worship is held Sunday mornings at the Pavilion overlooking McLemore Cove — where the breathtaking view truly sets the stage for appreciating all that God has created.
Hot coffee is always provided. Occasional potluck dinners are hosted by the group. We are a small, growing community of faith — and we'd love to have you join us.

Pastor Jeff Spry serves as the Coordinating Pastor for The Chapel at McLemore, helping to organize and oversee the Sunday morning worship services on Lookout Mountain.
Jeff brings a warm, community-centered spirit to every gathering — fostering an environment where guests, residents, staff, and neighbors from the surrounding area feel genuinely welcomed. His leadership helped launch the Chapel's interdenominational services, including the Easter Sunrise Service that has become a beloved tradition on the mountain.
Jeff is passionate about building a worshiping community that transcends denomination and background — believing that faith is best lived out together, with open hands and open doors.
We'd love to hear from you. Whether you have a question about services, would like more information about the Chapel, or want to get involved — reach out and we'll be in touch.
